It runs
100% solar by day; AC is optional
Why no extra wiring for the sun
Grid-tie panels shut down without utility power; on a hybrid, no AC is needed for the solar to work.
Wire in AC only if you want the controller to switch over at night or for a spa.
What lands at your door
A complete kit arrives with its own dedicated panels sized to that pump.
Order the pump alone if you plan to run on AC first and add panels down the road.
What it means month to month
Many owners save $100 to $250 a month, with your rate and your sun hours deciding the number.
